Important Note:

However, there used to be a Print Spooler Cleanup Diagnostic Tool just available from Microsoft that deleted non-Microsoft print processors & monitors. The tool also had the following execution modes:

  • Express Cleanup – Clears all non-Microsoft print monitors & as well as processors from print spooler.
  • Selective Cleanup – Permits you to choose which non-Microsoft print monitors & processors in order to disable.
  • Express Restore – Re-enables all non-Microsoft print monitors & processors disabled by a previous execution.
  • Selective cleanup/restore – This allows you to choose that which third-party print monitors or print processors you guys like to re-enable or disable.

This performs the function just by changing info in the registry as follows:

  • Simply it clears non-Microsoft print monitors from {PrintRootKey}\Monitors, & also moves them to {PrintRootKey}\Disabled Monitors.
  • It also scans all printer drivers in the printer’s key, & as well as updates all print drivers that are using one of the turned-off monitors & disabled them.
  • It clears non-Microsoft print processors {PrintRootKey}\Environments\{Architecture}\Print Processors, & also moves them to {PrintRootKey}\Environments\{Architecture}\Disable d Print Processors.
  • However, it scans all printers in the printer’s key, simply updates all print drivers though that are using one of the disabled print processors. And also moves them to “WinPrint.” The previous print processor configuration is saved on a registry value named “Disabled Print Processor.”

Unluckily, Microsoft also has taken it down.
